BRIAN Ó HEADHRA

Brian Ó hEadhra is a highly acclaimed musician and singer based in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. He sings the Gaelic quartet Cruinn and often performs with other established artists at home and abroad.  Brian sings and writes songs in English, Irish and Scottish Gaelic. His music is also well known across the folk world through the band Anam which he established in 1994.  Over the years he has toured the world and has brought out many albums with different acts including two solo albums entitled  ‘Life’ and ‘An t-Allt’.  Brian works as the Scottish Gaelic Arts & Culture Officer for two public bodies.

Brian’s latest album is entitled An t-Allt and released on the Brechin All Records label. Brian also plays in a trio with Sandy Brechin and Bruce MacGregor. They have also released an album Sonas on the Brechin All Records label.
