Paul Connolly is a Scottish concertina player, whose main influences are from the Highlands and West Coast traditional music. The tunes on this album reflect those Scottish influences, many of them associated with musicians and places from his own life in Scotland, and the Highlands in particular, He is joined on the album by several friends, all of whom are top players from the folk scene in their own right.
